Rock Climbing is the ultimate vertical challenge.  The Lake District is thought of as the birth place of English rock climbing.  With our help you can join in the adventure and excitement of reaching the top. From taster sessions to skills development, we will provide all you need to enjoy this activity.

Want to increase you personal skills and experience beyond those taster sessions?  Our skills courses can help.  Whether you're looking to take National Governing Body Awards, or just trying to increase your own personal competence, we will be happy to advise you.  Why not make use of our expert advice and coaching experience?  Check our calendar, or simply contact us and tell us what you need.

Why not celebrate that special event with something different.  Birthday parties, stag and hen parties can be really great if you add in that extra special adventure!  Choose any activities from our list, and we will make sure that you have a day to remember.

You don't need to be part of a preformed group to come on a Joint Adventures course.  Below is a list of summer special days for adults and accompanied children.  The cost per session is £20 per person.

Sessions are about 2 to 3 hours long and run from 10.00 until 1.00 and from 2.00pm until 5.00pm.

hose of us that enjoy adventure activities with our whole family this type of session is for you.  We will provide you with an instructor who is experienced  in working with families in the outdoors.  For these sessions it is best to contact us to discuss your requirements and take advantage of our special family rates.

Originally meant for people with GPS receivers, Geo-caching is like going on a treasure hunt.  Exciting as you home in on your target, and rewarding as you develop your navigational skills.  Each cache consists of a waterproof container with note book and pencil, and some little treasures.  You arrive at a cache, record your find in a log book, and swap some little treasure.  Most caches contain toys or little curiosities.  The idea is that people leave something and take something.  These items should not include food or other perishable things. his photo trail takes you from Langdale over to Coniston.  There is a National Trust car park at Old Dungeon Ghyll (GR28612, 06095).  There is plenty of parking in Coniston village, although you may be limited to the secondary school playground at peak times.  A suitable map to use is the OS Explorer OL6, which covers the South-western Lakes.  This walk is about 13 km, with an ascent of just under 700m.  Allow about 5 hours for this walk. One of our most popular activities. Why not walk up a mountain stream, climb waterfalls, and jump into pools?  This activity and is largely about getting wet and having fun.  Gorge walking may be done as a half day activity

Raft building involves teams of people building improvised rafts, from logs and barrels.  It is great fun and can be used to develop interpersonal skills, and team work, or just having fun!  Raft building can be done as a half day session, or combined with other team building activities to form a full day session.
