Camping Expeditions
Camping expeditions offer groups the chance to undertake journeys which involve an overnight camp. Journeys can be made either on foot or by canoe or kayak. A 2 day camping expedition offers excitement, fun and the chance to develop camp craft skills and get closer to nature. We will always try to work within your budget whilst maintaining a high quality of service and leadership.
Expedition by Canoe and kayak
Consiton Water is the 3rd largest of the Lake District Lakes. At 8km long and just under 1km wide at its widest point, it is the perfect lake for introductory expeditions on the water. This trip gives a good mixture of skills and expedition training for a first journey. Click here to see itinerary.
Expedition on foot and water
There are a huge number of journeys possible by foot and we organise expeditions involving easy, medium and hard treks over Lake District fells. Camping can be either wild camping, involving either bush craft or camping at a medium level tarn, or at a recognised camp sites with showers and other amenities. Please contact us with your requirements. Click here for a typical itinerary.
Windermere is the largest of the Lake District lakes being 20km long and about 1.5 km at its widest. This expedition involves a little more commitment from paddlers and is used most as a Duke of Edinburgh award expedition route. There are a variety of journeys which are possible on Windermere. Please ask for details.
