Joint Adventures Adventure activities in The Lake District
We are a family based company organising adventure activities and skills courses throughout The English Lake District. If you are interested in developing your experience and skills in the outdoors then we can offer you a number of choices. We provide a service through professionally qualified and experienced instructors, which will allow you to develop adventure activity skills to whatever level you choose.
One of our most popular activities. Why not walk up a mountain stream, climb waterfalls, and jump into pools? This activity and is largely about getting wet and having fun. Gorge walking may be done as a half day activity
Outdoor adventure activities are a very powerful way of developing people's ability to work as part of a team or to act as a team leaders. We can do this by engaging people in enjoyable, and challenging multi activity scenarios. We can then review and reflect on the events which took place. This brings people together, and can help them become more aware of their potential role in your organisation. Team building is available as a full day or multi day course with a minimum group size of 5.
All activities
All Summer
activities are more comfortable with a full arm and leg covering of warm
cloths. Fleece type material, or a wool mixture is a good choice. Try to
save your cotton T shirts and sweat shirts for travelling home in.
Jeans are NOT
recommended for any activity, apart from travelling home in.
Preferably two long sleeved layers, and one long legged layer, with your
lightweight waterproof jacket over the top. If you have waterproof trousers
bring them. Bring gloves, warm hat and additional warm clothing if weather
not the best
Advanced white water skills
This 2 day course is designed to move people on to the next level of paddling. It will focus on you learning how to paddle grade 3 water with finesse and develop skills needed to paddle grade 4 water.
Whether you want beautiful views, peace and tranquillity, or help with your navigation, we can help you get the most from your time on the hill. Hill walking can be tailored to meet your needs and level of experience. It is available as a full day, half day, or expedition activity. See our Photo Trails for your own adventure.
All of our instructors are fully qualified in the activities they lead. They have a high level of experience and local knowledge which enables them to turn which ever activity you choose into safe experience you will want to build on.
To comply with the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority's guidelines, for certain activities children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
