Hi

Welcome to the Joint Adventures Blog. We've set up this blog so that all you people with an interest in the outdoors can talk to each other about what you like doing and things you might like to try. So if you feel like sharing your ideas or you have anything that you want to find out about then blog away.

Best wishes,

Adam

Hi anyone

I was planning a visit to The Lake district for Christmas, but I really don't know it well. Im I made; will it be completely snowed under, or will I still be able to get out and do stuff? I'd be greatfull for any advice.

Ha Dr, C

Just pull on your woolies and get your self up to The Lakes for Chrissie. If is snows it will be Beautiful and if it doesn't snow it will be beautiful. There's loads to do even if the daylight is a bit short.

Joint Adventures update.

Well it's May, and that first proper bank holiday of the new season. We had some groups in the gorge this week, and we nearly didn't put them in wet suits....nearly!May be by the middle of July we'll think about that again.

We have the new Foundation Safety and Rescue Training course full on the the 17th May, and Adam is looking forward to getting to grips with the new course.

There are also one or two 3 star assessments going on in May. We have had a few enquiries for rolling courses, so if you'd like to perfect your roll then get in touch.

Hill skills courses are starting to run, and we are now able to offer National Navigation Awards. So if you want to know what to do when you get lost on the hill, join one of our summer courses, or ask some friends to join you, and we'll put on a course just for you.

More updates on our activities to follow.

Have fun

Kora
