Gorge Scrambling in The Lake District

Gorge Scrambling, or Ghyll Scrambling, is one of our most popular activities. It is suitable for virtually all ages be you from stag and hen parties, youth groups, school groups, family groups couples or individuals. Why not walk up a mountain stream, climb waterfalls, and jump into pools? This activity is largely about getting wet and having fun. Our instructors will match your abilities to the gorge to give you a fantastic experience you'll want to repeat.

We provide FULL wetsuits and waterproofs for all our gorge scrambles. The wetsuits are very dry before the gorge scramble and extremely wet after the gorge scramble! Learn why our wetsuits are probably better than most.

From late autumn and early spring we provide either winter weight wetsuit in the gorge or 2 summer ones. We like to keep all of our gorge scramblers as warm as possible.
