Joint Adventures activities take place all over The Lake District.  With bases in Coniston and Keswick, we are not tied to working from a particular centre, so we choose locations to suit you and the activity.  Depending on the part of the Lake District which you are visiting, we will base your activity North, South or West of the M6 corridor.  We frequently use Windermere, Coniston Water, Derwent Water, and Ullswater for water based activities.  We take advantage of the many rivers in both the north and south of the county, and of course the hills are everywhere!

                 Where to find us

The location of your activity will depend on where you want to be based.  The map covers most of the areas between Keswick and Coniston which we use. Specific locations can be discussed before you book.

The Town of Keswick is a busy Lakeland town set in the northern  part of the region nestling between Derwent Water and the Fells of Blencathera and Skiddaw.  There is also easy access to Borrowdale, giving a variety of walks for everyone to enjoy.

Keswick provides an rich activity base for climnbing, hill walking, kayaking, and canoeing.

Keswick is easily reached via the M6 motorway and A66 Trunk Road.  Leave the M6 at junction 40, take the first exit at the roundabout and follow the A66 all the way to keswick.

The village of Coniston is a typical Lakeland Village.  It provides easy access to Copper Mines Valley, The Old Man of Coniston, and Tilberthwaite fells.  With the relatively quiet yet accessible Coniston Water, the village has much to offer for anyone visiting the south of the county.

Coniston village; small and perfectly formed!

From the M6 junction 36 follow signs to the A590.  Continue west along the A590 to Greenod.  At Greenod turn left following the A5092.  After passing by the village of Spark Bridge ( to the right), turn right onto the A5084 towards Torver and Coniston.  At the T junction in Torver turn right onto the A593 which leads to Coniston.
